How to read the tracker
Season

Skaters: goals, assists, then total points for the season. So 4-6-10 means 4 goals, 6 assists and 10 points. The small number underneath is games played (GP).

Goalies: save percentage (the share of shots stopped, so .921 means 92.1%) and goals-against average (goals allowed per 60 minutes). Underneath are games played and the record in wins, losses and overtime losses.
Rough guide: about a point per game is excellent for a young pro. In goal, .910 or better is strong in most leagues.
Last 5

The player's last five games, oldest on the left and newest on the right. Each box is the number of points in that game.

Goalies show results instead: W win, L loss, OTL overtime loss.
More color toward the right means he's heating up. Sorting this column ranks players by total points over those five games.
Status column: ELC means entry-level contract, the first NHL contract a young player signs (usually 2–3 years). A Rockford player on an ELC is under Blackhawks contract and has been assigned to the IceHogs to develop. AHL contract means he’s signed only with Rockford, and Unsigned (rights held) means the Hawks own his NHL rights but haven’t signed him yet, which is common for college and European players.

The Prospect Tracker follows every prospect the Chicago Blackhawks own who isn’t a full-time NHL regular. That includes players in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs and in the ECHL, draft picks in the NCAA and the major junior leagues, and players in Europe.
For each player you’ll see his most recent game (date, opponent, result and his stat line), his season totals and his last five games. “DNP” means he didn’t dress for his team’s most recent game. Last Night’s Standouts lists the best performances from the previous night first.
The numbers come from official league stat sites and box scores, College Hockey News, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s official stats and NHL.com. Contract and rights information comes from CapWages.
The tracker updates each morning after the previous night’s games. Players in Russia’s KHL, VHL and MHL show season totals only, because game-by-game stats for those leagues aren’t available to us. The stats are compiled automatically, so the official league sites are always the final word.
