Who’s Chicago Searching?

How it works

Every day we pick a like-for-like matchup (players vs. players, teams vs. teams, prospects vs. prospects, and on game days our stars vs. tonight’s opponent) and ask Google Trends which name people in the Chicago area searched for most over the last 30 days.

Scores are relative interest on a 0-100 scale: the most-searched name in each matchup is 100, and everyone else is shown as a share of that. They are not search counts, and scores from different matchups can’t be compared with each other.
